My grandma always made baked custard in a metal pie dish, that was rectangular in shape, in a water bath, not sure of the capacity of the dish, perhaps three cup capacity. It always worked fine. I haven't really bean able to eat it since, I so associate it with my grandmother, that it makes me sad!

Memories like that keep her alive in you, kyle, and that's a sweet thing. Something you can do with your children and grandchildren in her name.

I agree Lindatoo. When I burn something, I remember MY grandma. God, she burned so much stuff! LOL!
