We all know how to make rice crispy treats.

Rice Crispy cereal
Butter
Marshmallows

Ditch the rice crispies and use Cheerios. I used a mix of the chocolate, peanut butter, and regular Cheerios.

Things you can do to make it different.

Add raisens or craisins.
Pecan pieces would work well too.

The thing I always to is top them with chocolate. After the mix is spread out in the pan, spread chocolate chips on top. How much depends on you. Pop the pan under the broiler to soften the chips. Less then a minute will do. Spread the chocolate all over. I just use my finger.

My brother rarely eats candy or desserts anymore. As a kid, he loved Cheerios and still does. He not only had 2nds, he had 3rds.

I make something similar, using Cheerios, chocolate, chunky peanut butter, peanuts and a bit of coconut oil. Good stuff!

I've heated it on the stovetop or in the microwave. Then I dollop the mix on wax paper and let harden in the fridge. You can also pour it all in one big clump on wax paper and break it into chunks. I just eyeball the measurements.
