Blondies (Alix's)

1/2 cup melted butter
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp (generous) vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup nuts or choc chips

Add sugar to melted butter in saucepan and stir til bubbly. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in flour and nuts/chips and bake at 325 in a 9x9 pan for 35 - 40 minutes.

*These are really gooey and heavy. If you want a lighter version I'm posting a Blondies 2 recipe.
