HEY I HEARD THAT!!!
I found 'em anyway.
Thanks I LOVE coconut and cherry Ol Blue!

I need to quit opening your postings, Ol Blue, because when I do I gain 5 pounds just reading it and can't keep my mouth from salivating. These look scrumptious (you take gorgeous photos) as I can't resist cherry anything. Now I know what I'm going to be making for guests next weekend as I can find both cherry preserves and coconut here and it will be such a change from my regular boring desserts.

I noticed that too, she has a great eye for photography!
And yes, she has me watching the scale like a hawk too!

OMG Debbie, these bars look so yummy! Thank you for posting the recipe!
Next time I go to town, I am picking up a couple jars of those cherry preserves, as I want to make these these bars, and have extra preserves on hand so I can make your delicious tasting Cherry Pork Chops once again.

Thanks Domestic Goddess, I hope you enjoy these bars as much as you did the pork chops. Enjoy! Debbie

LOL...pbswife, This should cure any grump problem. Enjoy! Debbie

oh man, I'm going to have to stop looking at your threads!! I gain 5 lbs each time. Those look absolutely wonderful!!

Debbie, I made these bars yesterday, ate a few last night, and ate a few this morning to go w/my cup of coffee.
Boy were these ever good!

Debbie, when I made these, I did add a bit more of the preserves (1/3 cup more). I also think these bars taste best when chilled in the fridge overnight. It helps to firm them up. Thank you Debbie for this wonderful bar recipe.
I will enjoy making them again.

I don't know how I missed these the first time around, but I am so glad it was brought back up! I have to try these soon!!!

:)Barbara

Thanks for the recipe!!!
I made these this morning. There were no cherries in the house so I substituted whole berry cranberry sauce. It met with approval from everyone here!!
Thanks!!
