How to make Sweet Potato Brownies Gooey?

Is there a way to make sweet potato brownies gooey without adding chocolate?

Well, you could add marshmallows, but that would be sticky not gooey.

I am not sure brownies are gooey? Moist yes, and sweet potatoes are naturally moist.

Stir in some walnuts or pecans chopped for texture contrast, then you wouldn't need to do anything else and they would appear gooey.

You might try to stir in some maple syrup in the batter.

You might try to swirl in some caramel sauce after you spread the batter in the pan but before baking.
