i find myself with way to many marshmellows . i am not a big fan of just eating them.i am wondering if i can sub special k for rice krispes in candy?what do you guys think? would just follow same recipe . help babe

yes and yes! I'm pretty sure you can sub any cereal. Just be extra-gentle with Special K. If it's original Special K try adding some low sugar peanut butter or almond butter too.

You do have to be more gentle with flake cereal, but yes it can be subbed. And corn flakes or special k is great with peanut butter in the mixture!

Uh, I don't know the size of your recipe, but I don't think we put more than 1/4 of peanut butter in it. I am still trying to find this recipe I got from the UofI Cafeteria for their gooy peanut butter bars. They had of course peanut butter, butter, corn flakes, and peanuts in them. Not sure what else as I can't find the recipe anywhere.
