I recently picked up a packaged mix for Reese's Dessert Bars, thinking my 8 yr old grandson would enjoying making them. There's no baking involved, just a little microwave use to melt butter, and the mix even comes with it's own little pan.
With my direction, he did everything, and we had lots of fun.
What surprised me was how delicious these bars are! They are, if anything, even BETTER than Reese Cups. Needless to say, the little pan didn't go very far. When my husband did the shopping this weekend, he came home with two more boxes.
