I found a recipe for low fat brownies...I was wondering if i can use whole wheat flour?

You aren't looking to develop gluten as you would be when making bread, so you should be able to substitute whole wheat for regular flour--might be a little chewier, tho, b/c of the texture.

I did glance at the KA whole grain cooking book, and looking at their brownie recipes, they do not seem to add or supplement all purpose in with their whole wheat flours when making brownies.

Thanx....I think I'll try it anyway....what have i got to lose?

Absolutely nothing. Brownies are one of those things that I can eat some of, whether its a finely cooked specimen or an absolute flop. Who cares, its still chocolate:chef: !
