Avocado and Ahi are commonly used together in tartare. Here's kind of a different take on the modern classic:

Blackened Ahi with Avocado "Tartare" Tian
Ginger-Scallion Pesto, Truffled Micro Greens, Root Vegetable Chips

 
I love your picture of what you prepared. I love Sushi and the combination of the Avocado and Tuna is awsome.

I love anything that is Tartare.
 
I had some leftover (very tender) chuck roast. So I sliced it up, heated it in the gravy I'd made from the drippings. I served it over thick slices of toasted French bread. An open-faced hot roast beef "sandwich". Mmmmmm!
