Vincent van Gogh was born on this date in 1853, died on July 29, 1890. Such a short life, but was one of the most influential painters in Western art.

Tonight's masterpiece (and I'm using the term very, very loosely) was chicken fajitas.

True that, tenspeed....such a tortured life and didn't live long enough to realize his influence in the modern world.

I was busy in the yard most of this beautiful day, so a tuna melt on rye was dinner. Sliced apple, olives, and pickles for sides.

I have some more Char Siu Fried Rice left,
so I made up my Quick Cucumber Kimchi
and some grilled Teriyaki B/S Chicken Thighs

Dessert later will be Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
topped with fresh Strawberries macerated in
Stevia and Kahlua :yum: maybe a drizzle
of Hot Fudge would put it over the top :chef:

Still on a pizza kick here. Made 2 sourdough crusts with homemade pizza sauce, sausage cooked with onion, pepperoni, mozz cheese and olives. Had neighbors over and one slice was left. For dessert I pulled a pumpkin pie out of the freezer and made whipped cream. They brought beer.

Smashed burgers on homemade buns with steak fries seasoned with Penzeys 4/S Seasoned Salt and salad.
