If it's a big crowd I make a salad but it is a special salad like greens with avocado, pomegranate seeds and warm champagne dressing or a greens with glazed pecans sliced green apples, feta and a sherry shallot vinaigrette. On the other hand why would one want to waste good stomach space which is needed for the bird, sweet potatoes, dressing my favorite, gravy and home made cranberry sauce. After all one can only eat so many things I do love brussel sprouts and green beans as well plus fluffy rolls. To many tasty things to eat all at once of course you can make up the next day with leftovers and I do love the left overs.
