Boil Water Orders
A week or so ago, a water main broke in our neighborhood and we were told to boil water until told to stop. 5 minutes at a high rolling boil. I got lazy on the last day and didn't use boiled water in my soup (canned). DO NOT DO THIS. I was lucky, the only result was a night spent running between bed and toilet. If this ever happens to you (and it isn't the first time, we've lived in hurricane lands and were more cautious, I just got lazy and figured it was the last day of the bann). It could have been worse, I could have gotten seriously sick rather than just a case of Montezuma's revenge.

I concur: DON'T DO THIS
However Clair since it was the last day of the boil water notice it may just have been a Ka-winky-dink (coincidence) ![]() |

Wow - valuable lesson learned. I'm glad it wasn't more serious.
