Butter - Is it just me?

Is it just me or everyone thinks that the more butter you put in a recipe, the better it tastes?

(Almost off the topic, but how can someone fit summer bikinis in these conditions????)

I'm not sure because I don't bake much, but I know the taste of a grilled cheese is 40% what cheese you use and 60% how much butter you use. It just tastes so darn good! And if you're going to use a fat, I think we can agree its the best tasting (except a good Olive Oil in some rare situation).

I love butter, and it does make many, many things better, but up to a point. Once you past that point you lose the flavors of everything else.

To me, bread is just a holder for the butter. When no one is looking, I will eat butter straight - no bread!

You'd love Paula Deen's recipes.
