I threw together some crockpot lasagne. What's up at your place?

GG's post yesterday got me thinking Greek. Chicken pieces are marinating in oil / lemon / oregano. Picked up zucchini and onion at the farmer's market this morning for the grill. I have 2 hours to figure out how to make the orzo, but I'm thinking a bit of oil along with oregano and parsley, with some crumbled feta mixed in, maybe a bit of chopped kalamata olives.

Cheddar bay biscuit, fried oysters w/ cocktail sauce....

That mouse is adorable.

Well, we're hosting a dinner party in honour of the hubby's 42nd birthday tonight, so the menu is:

Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Horseradish Cream
Roasted Potatoes
Vichy Carrots
Farro and Cauliflower Gratin
Garlic Green Beans and Almonds
Mixed Green Salad

and eclairs for dessert. (Those are from the bakery down the street)

I'll be having a couple of pulled pork tacos again this evening, while I still have fresh cilantro. They were so good last night that I don't mind at all having them again this evening. :yum:

Joey, great looking dinner!

Nickee, happy birthday to your DH. Your menu sounds lovely!

I wondered what you were serving with those Cheddar Bay Biscuits S&P

[file photo, this was enough for us both btw ;)]

Our niece gave me these really cool parchment bags,

so I filled them with assorted veggies from my produce bin in the `fridge,
a nice piece of fresh Salmon Fillet, topped with fresh herbs,
put in a glug of dry vermouth, sealed them and baked them off.
Salmon en papillote done easy.
Served with a BIG side salad and dessert later tonight, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
