Roasted cauliflower has been talked about a lot lately so thought I'd give it a try with the oven pork chops tonight. It was ok but it sure doesn't work with roasted broccolini. I don't like the smell in the house either. Everything was edible so that's a good thing.

I actually baked a Granny Pineapple Cake today, so there's that.:D

I like roasted cauliflower....but anything broccoli related (IMO), needs to be steamed for a bit first to break down some of the fibers. And yes, it's kind of smelly. LOL

Granny Pineapple Cake...OMGosh, this is SO good! I've made it twice since you first posted the recipe Kay, and it's a big hit with everyone I've shared it with. :yum:

My roast chicken was very late, I think we finally ate at about 9:30pm. It was worth the wait, though! The chicken was perfect; the compound butter underneath the skin flavored the meat and kept it moist, the skin was crispy and perfectly browned, and the veggies under the chicken were delicious.
