Haha! Can't believe there wasn't a thread started! We had one of the best stir fry's that I have ever made. I velveted chicken thigh and breast meat that I had thinly sliced. I used red, yellow and orange bell peppers, onions, celery, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, garlic and snap peas.

I make a sauce with chicken broth, soy sauce, Yoshida's original sauce a little white wine and cornstarch. Seasoned with some five spice and garlic.

Thanks ladies! It really was good. Taxlady, I have never had a falafel, but would really like to try it sometime. :)
Falafel is really yummy, but that wasn't what I had. I had shish taouk, shwarma, tabouli, and fatoush salad. They do make falafel too. ;)

made a "healthy" "bbq"(i want to drop a few pounds)chicken:skinned, scored, spatchcocked & marinaded a marks & spencers oakham chicken, had tomatoes with slivers of garlic & basil leaves roasted in evoo & balsamic vinegar, potato wedges simply dressed with sunflower oil, salt & black pepper.did have a couple of glasses of stormhoek pinotage.those south african boys are kings of pinotage.well i like the sentiment on the label & the chicken was skinless:ermm:!

That is a lovely dinner Bill :yum:

Tonight we made a Lemon and Cream Cheese Pasta, gee it was tasty...I will have to put the recipe on for you guys to try :)

Somebunny, your stir fry meal looks amazing! Harry Cobean, same with your chicken dinner....looks wonderful. I love looking at the pictures y'all post. :yum:

Yesterday afternoon I made guacamole, salsa, and fried some corn tortilla chips. It was a very nice early dinner. At the last minute I added some extra onions and cilantro. No wonder I was up at 4 AM this morning.

I marinated a chopped chicken breast in oregano, lemon juice, garlic, evoo and S&P, then browned it all in a pan. Served it in pita pockets with tzatziki, lettuce, tomatoes and feta and a large Greek salad. Yummy.
