I hear ya, amber. haven't felt like getting very creative at all lately until today, and I don't have the flu to blame it on.

We're all flu-ridden here, maybe some chicken broth, and some sips of wayer.

I had a headache off and on all day and almost did not make dinner. But I decided that some good food would be better than no food. So, I made Chinese pepper steak over white jasmine rice.

Sierra, in violation of the Mexican dinner theme last night (and because I had a lot of apples) I made your Dutch apple pie for dessert. Big hit! I'm going to try that crust again with some other fruits.

Didn't end up having leftover tamales. Instead, I have breakfast for dinner, hashbrowns, scrambled egg and ham. It was good though!

It is one of my most requested desserts by coworkers and family members. I think it would be great with other fruits, especially blackberries. YUM!! I have 3 apples in my fruit basket waiting to become a Dutch apple pie right now.
