ah, i love fort myers. i tried to get a job at wink-tv a few years ago when they were looking for a senior broadcast engineer. no go, though. we weren't even in the same ballpark on salary. a single lost commercial can cost more than my entire yearly salary, but they're cheap, apparently. i've heard all of florida is like that. a "right to work" state.

1 freakin' commercial. 30 seconds. more than my salary.

ya gotta wonder who's running things down there.

There's a great Mexican-inspired restaurant near us that used to do roasted poblano peppers stuffed with shrimp, chicken and rice, topped with mole sauce. Really yummy
