Dinner Friday 12th of April

Still cold, winter came early this year
I'll go and see what veggies are fresh at the market and make a nice pot of hot vegetable soup
Caitlin is home with flu so she'll be happy

We eat our ham with crispy crackling. Never gravy, only sauerkraut or cabbage and lots of good mustard to go with it :)

We tried something different with our pasta tonight, we used ricotta instead of cream cheese...we certainly prefer the cream cheese

I had to go back and reread your post. By brain was saying, I don't recall Snip saying she was having ham today

If I get the gumption to take the boat into town today, I think I'll make Snip's curry mussels again.
OK, it's not that bad, but three days of rain in a row is a bit much.

It's pouring with rain here too. Washing got soaked, should have just rubbed soap on it and let the rain do the rinsing

Is that considered washing in hot or cold water in Africa?

A cold rainy day here as well. Dinner tonight will be Chinese pepper steak over jasmine rice.
