Well what about an 'approval' button, or 'relish', 'fancy', 'favour'?

Ha ha, got it! I had seen the thanks button and used it but I had no way of knowing if it actually did anything, I thought that I might have been sending my 'thanks' into some internet fourth dimension so stopped using it.
