Dinner Friday April 11?

I figured someone would do this by now!
Roasting a chicken. Will try not to make gravy.

We had a steak pie from our local farm shop, buttered carrots & leeks in cheese sauce.

Is there something wrong with gravy that I don't know about?

I'm trying to lose my last 10 pounds and if I make gravy I will eat a cup of it AND lick my plate!

I'm going to make big Thai spring roll-inspired salads with leftover wine-butt chicken, rice noodles, lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumber, and sesame-ginger dressing. Seems like I should have something else with that ... maybe I'll get DH to stop at the store and get some frozen egg rolls.

Sounds like me Man, between that, chicken skin and roasted garlic, I think you and I would have a great time cooking together

If it is stormy out, I will make fish N chips, fries and tossed salad.
If not - burgers on the grill, fries and the salad .
