booooooooring!

last night, dw made a boring meat loaf, and umm, the rest was so boring that i don't even remember. (the meat loaf was actually pretty good) :)

but then, in a midnight cooking frenzy, i found chicken thighs and wings to use up before they went bad, so i made an arroz con pollo, frijoles, y champinons. it was boring too, no flavor. i overdid the "earthiness" of it by starting with achiote oil, then adding beans and rehydrated mushrooms on top of that.
but, hot sauce saves everything, so it was edible with a little goya salsita smoked ancho sauce.
