tonight was take out chinese from a new place near us.

it was average at best, so we won't be ordering from there anymore.

the spring rolls were very small and overcooked; the chicken in lettuce wraps were ok, but the lettuce could have been more fresh; the grilled steak and shrimp kew was pretty bad. the marinade used for the steak was sour, and didn't fit with the brown sauce used with the shrimp and veggies. it made the meat almost taste as if it was going bad.
the only really decent dish was the veggie lo mein, but that was about it.

I made some bacon bits and grilled some onions
sliced some mushrooms and added it all to some canned tomatoes
parsley, oregano, salt, pepper and lots of garlic. I'll serve it over pasta.
sounds fabbo! yummoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo:LOL:

Probably a nice BLT sandwich, my tomatoes are starting to ripen fast so I'll be using them as often as possible. Basil is doing well also, now if only I had some fresh mozz.......

I just bought the kit! I've been thinking of the same thing, and since my garden of tomaotes, basil and garlic is in full bloom, what could go better with it?
