Well, I sure hope the pain goes away suddenly. I can't hold a fork properly; I held my wine glass like a barbarian, by making a fist around it.I had an index finger hurt for a day last week. Not the joint. The whole finger. Not swollen either. The pain went as suddenly as it appeared. Weird. A thumb would be tough to deal with.
