Making a big pot of chili... And trying out a ice cream maker i got for xmas...

If my thumb stops hurting in time, I will make cottage pie. If not, Stirling will make something, probably burgers.

I'm going to recycle last nights pot roast by dicing it up with some onions and potato's and cooking it in a mix of marinara, coconut milk and curry powder. Add some pea's at the end and call it curry stew.

I still need to shred, portion and freeze that beer can chicken I cooked the other night, so I'm thinking either chimichitos or quesadillas. Probably the quesadillas. With jalapenos and large amounts of cheddar cheese.

Leftover turkey casserole. When I heated it up, I added a bit of mustard and some capers. Next time I make it, the capers and mustard will definitely be added.

Tonight we're having a pan seared ham steak and baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon.

So, the thumb is still being a PITA. Stirling made burgers.

I had an index finger hurt for a day last week. Not the joint. The whole finger. Not swollen either. The pain went as suddenly as it appeared. Weird. A thumb would be tough to deal with.

I missed something as usual, what did you do to your thumb?
kades
I don't know if I sprained it (I don't remember doing anything that would sprain it) or if I suddenly got arthritis in it - it started hurting when it got really cold and there have been hints that it might be starting to get arthritis.

Well, I sure hope the pain goes away suddenly. I can't hold a fork properly; I held my wine glass like a barbarian, by making a fist around it.

And now I am having the emergency chocolate for dessert. :pig:

Found this 3.5 pound piece of yellow fin tuna loin today for $9.99 a pound and I couldn't resist. We had grilled tuna steaks, wild rice, and steamed aspargus tonight with a lovely chimichurri sauce. Tomorrow, we'll have spicy tuna rolls, shrimp dragon rolls and tuna tataki. The rest have been vacu-packed and put in the deep freeze for future use.

It's OK to hold your wine glass with a fist only if you have a leg of lamb in the other hand

And chocolate fixes everything

Recycled Pot Roast / Curry Stew, the final product. I hope this works. =0)
