I have to get some sleep for Friday night first! Can't even think about what's cooking for Saturday, yet.

Something easy lol! I've got cheese pies in the fridge and some zucchini and butternuts that I need to use.

Hopefully last night's dinner plans will carry over to tonight, but I am making chili this afternoon, so I might have to have a bowl of that.

The freezer is bare but my dad is coming for a visit this evening. He lives about an hour from here so he will go home tonight. We'll go out to eat somewhere with him. He like to eat out when he "travels" even if it's a short trip.

i'd brown it, then add some carrots, onions, celery, garlic, tomato paste, and beef stock and cook it down until it was fork tender, then reduce the liquids into a gravy and serve it over mashed spuds or orzo.
