Dinner Sunday 28th October

Tonight we are having spicy beef mince wraps

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt

Using up leftovers and such that are in the fridge. Don't want to cook and have more leftovers in case the power goes out.

Steak sandwiches on hard rolls. Actually, I might just munch on them throughout the day and not have a true dinner today.
Give us this day our daily bacon.

Either chicken nuggets and fries or ham and scalloped potatoes. Depends on the weather. So far, it's just a lot of rain. Had some high winds earlier but they have died down.
I could give up chocolate but I'm no quitter!

Gonna try Kadesma's chicken thighs and honey tonight. I had aimed to do this at the rendezvous but I 'spect it will be just as good in the oven. Gonna serve it with my version of Jamaican rice and peas.

Bucks County PA lamb and mushroom stew (onions bacon beer carrots peas and parsnips in there too) over wide noodles with kale.

Emptied my freezer of all my accumulated lamb neck pieces. (cheap, with bone and connective elements for great broth making!) I think I'll get two stews from all this...the other will be traditional Irish!

For Sunday Dinner I am making Khoresht Fesenjaan (Persian chicken), Tah Dig (Persian Rice), and Kukune Sabzi (Persian vegetable casserole). Then I am going to blow the whole theme by opening a bottle of F. Stephen Miller Angel's Reserve Viognier!

I made a big pot of posole with cheese quesadillas last night, so we just warmed it up and will keep it simmering on the stove for a bite whenever we want some. I'll make some guacamole in a little while to go with tortilla chips.
