Finally got a nice warm, sunny day after 2 weeks of cold, foul weather, so it's grilling time. I took my 20 year old Weber kettle to the dump this morning and will be making rusty chicken thighs on the shiny new one, although the old grill might have been more appropriate! Also having cole slaw and lime cilantro rice in the Zoji.

That sounds really good, tenspeed. :yum: And congrats on the new grill!

I've got some country style pork ribs slow roasting in the oven, which I'll finish on the Weber. Steamed broccoli and potatoes will be sides - not sure yet how I'm going to do the potatoes, but kind of leaning towards cutting them in thick wedges and roasting them.

Panko crusted chicken nuggets and cream of asparagus soup here.

The last of this seasons stone crab that I will have access to, fresh from the boat. Season closes 5-15-16.:( We had baked potatoes and cucumber salad with sour cream dill dressing as sides.

Good looking food Craig and Joey!
I'll be grilling some Mojo thighs and wings, and we'll have glorified salads.
I like the looks of that Rusty Thighs recipe 10speed...next time

Kgirl..travel safe. Do you have somewhere to hang your hat while house is being built? Don't forget to dig up St. Joe before you leave!

Wonderful looking dinners, Craig and Joey. As always, everyone's sounds so good and I'm always inspired by what I read here. :yum:

AB, sure hope you feel better soon.

Kgirl...wow...sounds like it's down to the wire now. Wishing you all the best for an easy move. Can't wait to hear about your new home! :w00t:

It was delish, and I'm stuffed. Couldn't finish it all. One of the ribs went into the fridge to warm up for tomorrow.

I made a super simple dinner tonight. I doctored up a can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup with some extra egg noodles, pepper, Indian spices (garam masala). I made some grilled cheese sandwiches to go with it.

Very cool looking and sounding dinners everyone. Way cool pizza pan Joey. I made a CI fried sirloin steak, pan fried sliced taters and asparagus and some marinated cucumber salad.

Gorgeous photo, Cheryl. Was this taken outside? You have great light.

I had a headache this afternoon, so we had leftovers.

Thank you, GG! It was taken at my dining room table, there is usually lots of natural light there. :)

I hope your headache has gone away...no bueno. :(

Aunt Bea, I hope you're feeling better soon. You too, GG, hope your headache goes away.

K-Girl, happy trails to you. Looking forward to getting updates as they build your new digs. It would be fun to follow along in a dedicated thread. ;) ;) ;)

Great looking food porn, S&P, Craig, and Cheryl. I hope my photo is good enough.

We actually had TACOS on Taco Tuesday! I picked up a couple ear of corn when I was shopping, nuked them, and cut the kernels off of the cobs. Mixed that with butter, lime juice, Tajin, and ground Allepo pepper. I still have leftover broasted chicken (we order large so we can nibble for days afterwards) so I shredded the meat off of a breast and heated it up in some Salsa Verde. Also had a small amount of the barbacoa left. I lined up all sorts of toppings (radish slices, chopped tomato, avocado, mango, finely shredded red cabbage, queso fresca, shredded Mexican cheese blend, various hot sauces) and we each topped our tacos however we wanted. So good - the only thing missing was a margarita.

Oh YUM, CG...now that's my kind of dinner. Great pic! :yum: I love tacos most any way, especially with a fun do-it-yourself 'taco bar' as you had. Reminds me....must get a mango or three.

Corn on the cob has been 4/$1 here lately, so I've been buying up a bunch and freezing it. :)

A large pan of baked macaroni and cheese with a bread crumb topping. Sent Spike home with half of it.
