Pacanas, get the best of both worlds! Char mark your burgers on the grill then finish them in a pan either on the stove or in the oven. Great gravy and grill flavour and looks all in one!

I might give that a try, Laurie. Maybe one side.... I'm not sure how that would work for getting the "goodies" on the SS pan, byt there's one way to find out!
