Bout the only time I appreciate public transportation is Besenwirtschaft and holidays like the autumn Volksfest.

I had this last night, the chicken was strangled about 1mile away, the spuds are Rooster from the garden as are the courgettes,I roasted the spuds raw in olive oil,View attachment 11691 simple roast chicken and gravy, the flavor was so good we had half leftover so the dinner will be repeated tonight

OMG. Thanks to Kayelle and Katie, who turned me on to the Camerons stove top smoker. Did a couple chicken breasts with s&p, a few hot pepper flakes, evoo, and a T. of hickory shavings. I am still experimenting, cooked on one burner of my GE ceramic top, and it worked fine! Took a bit longer, but man, it was worth it!

I wasn't in the mood to cook and dh was gone anyway so I just cooked up a pot of good old fashioned oatmeal. I added honey, brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom. Always a hit! Maybe not so suitable for the hot weather but it's 75 with a slight breeze here inside We had fresh fruit on the side.

left over chicken bbq pizza and a butter finger ice cream bar. to hot to cook. boy! i am getting tired of this heat. just zaps me out of energy.
