I think I made everything I said I was planning... here's the pics.
The pepper was stuffed with sautéed shallots, zucchini, garlic, shrimp and panko bread crumbs seasoned with herbs de provence. The corn was eaten "neat"

Mmmm. Pics look so good, all! I will have to make some beef barley soup, but weather still hot here. DH had a corporate dinner thing, so I just had a salad.

I found some all beef patties at the store yesterday, so I made up two patties with 2 half slices of thick meaty bacon (each) topped with a slice of Swiss.

I was going to make a double burger, but with the crispy lettuce and a couple of slices of tomato, one Swiss/bacon/pattie was enough.

Now I have one more already made up to have for breakfast tomorrow!

We ate a local place. Mark had a bacon/cheese omelet, hashbrowns and toast. I had a mushroom/swiss burger with fries.

Thank you VB. The only thing I really had to cook was the barley. The rest was left over from last night or frozen. Start to finish took 45 minutes and that was the barley cooking time.
