We had spaghetti and coleslaw. For dessert I made a small lemon cake. (love those little Jiffy Cake mixes).

That would be wonderful kades, the rice and salad, anyway! At this point I would love for someone to cook for me; however DH drives for a living and he is usually never around when it is time to make supper. Our border does sometimes get himself something to help out, but I don't want to see him living off canned soup and ravioli forever! I would love to some times just through something in the crockpot in the morning but neither are stew fans.

BTW, it sounds like you have enough on your plate!

I wanted to go eat dinner at Amy's...but she's not answering the door

Actually, I'm making this ---> Cornish Hens with Lemon and Herbs and more delicious recipes, smart cooking tips, and video demonstrations on marthastewart.com

with one of our favorite side dishes ---> Orzo Risotto Recipe at Epicurious.com
and some type of carrot dish - either carrot/butternut soup, or carrots in dill ---> Vegetable sides for Thanksgiving

and probably more chocolate chip cookies like I made yesterday (they're already all gone!)

We had beef panang and pad thai, DW cooked again as I haven't really cooked much since the surgery. She keeps trying to involve me but usually by early evening I am too sore and tired to be of much help.
