Dinner Wed. Nov. 1

I pounded out some chicken breasts and they are marinating in a balsamic, rice wine, olive oil, sesame oil, kind of marinade.

I'm making brown rice with caramelized red onions and carrots cooking in it then a baby mixed green salad with the same ingredients as the chicken marinade.

It's one of those dinners where I didn't want to go to the store at ALL!!!! I really wanted Brussels sprouts - but I guess not bad enough to venture out.

I don't remember why we forget...hahah.

I think I'll have to make some this weekend. I'd like to find recipe to make it from brown sugar and milk, although the jello brand will suffice. It always did, all those years ago. I didn't much care for the little paper cup it was served in, however:neutral:.
