Sounds good Kylie :)

I'm making creamy curried dal with buttered naan bread and bacon sausages for hubby on the side.

I've never heard of bacon sausages, Snip. How are they made?

I'm going out to dinner with friends tonight. We're now going to a new place the first Wednesday of every month. So tonight we're going to Bardo: http://bardoeats.com/ Love this place.

I make them myself with ground smoked bacon (not too fatty), pepper, a bit of breadcrumbs and grated cheese stuffed in lamb intestines.
Sometimes I leave out the cheese and add chopped glace cherries. The sweet cherries with the salty bacon combines well.

Do you have a sausage horn or similar for filling the sausages?

My meat grinder has got a sausage attachment but a sausage horn would work fine too.
