Dinner Wednesday 8th May 2013

Have some chicken leg quarters marinating and will put them outside on the grill to cook. Some of the last of the corn-on-the-cob frozen from last year's garden to go with, as well as pickled green tomatoes and pickled okra as our green veggies. Iced tea to wash it all down and homemade oatmeal/nut/raisin/chocolate chip cookies for dessert. That should do it nicely.
 
Our grandson is here and may be staying for dinner so I'll defrost a container of meat sauce for pasta tonight.

I think it will be a mixed green salad topped with a Buffalo style chicken tender and chunky blue cheese dressing!
 
Went shopping yesterday; so tonight will be a belly buster in order to eat stuff purchased while it's still fresh.
per person-
1 pint Scotch broth
1 pound fried fresh kolbasi
1 pound steamed buttered asparagus.
Looking forward to lotsa spinach tomorrow.

Shredded bbq pork sammies with Pepperjack and pickles, and veggies with ranch dip.
