First Day of Socks Dinner - 9/24/2018

If that guy from Foodimentary can make up holidays, then I can too!

It was cool the last two nights, and today is only going to get up to 55 F, so I finally had to break down and put on socks today. Sad to see summer go. Still grilling weather, though. Dinner will be "supermarket fresh" swordfish on the grill with pineapple salsa, some kind of rice, roasted cauliflower.

I have a condo board meeting tonight so dinner will be an easy to fix meal of pastrami sandwiches.

I have a turkey breast ready to roast, fresh green beans (I may make cold garlic and lemon string bean salad), stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. Maybe mashed if someone wants. That’s the plan.

I went out for a Mexican feast for lunch and could only eat about half, so I brought the rest home. I'll nibble on the rest of it this evening - maybe. I'm still pretty full.

On the menu tonight...Chicken Cacciatore over Rotini pasta. Garlic toast.

I haven't been feeling well today, so we'll have leftovers.
