The cold front came through and pork shoulder was on sale, so I made a pot of posole today. So good! I also made another pan of corn bread with chopped tomatoes and minced garlic and red jalapeño. That was delish, too!

What did you have?

Leftovers. I just finished up a burger with Provolone and lettuce on a brioche bun. Wish I could say I finished up with packing the garage sale leftovers for the Salvation Army. Close, so very close...

I'll be making some shrimp Scampi. Mine will be served on spinach, and the SC will have his on steamed rice. We'll both have salads.

That looks like a great pot of Posole, GG.:yum:

Nice pics, GG!

DH brought home some cooked breaded chicken tenders from Walmart. They're surprisingly good! We have plenty of coleslaw to finish up too.

Anniversary dinner for us. Went to the best, local Italian place we have found. Excellence across the board, including take home gnocchi and dessert.:yum: Not cheap, but you expect that for quality food, service and wine.;)

Happy Anniversary.

GG, nice looking meal. Have you ever posted your recipe for posole?

Happy anniversary, Craig and Medtran. We went to our favourite Italian resto too. It was really good. I brought home half of mine. :pig:

My Farfullo Arrosto with Aglio E Olio sauce.

The weather has been raining and raining all the time we are here! Ucccckkkk!

Joyce made her nice peppers and Polish sausage stirring fry and she made a very nice salad and her Mamma's recipe of nice biscuits with the nice Irish butter. We had the nice gelation ice cream for dessert, and apples.

Now she and I are having the fun of posting here and we have the snacks of the pretzels and homemade peanut butter!

Love to everyone,
~Cat
