Food Prices

Maybe your area has a higher income level? I suppose they all charge what they think they can get away with.

I don't think it is higher income area (Monroe County) I go to ShopRite usually (hubby uses is 5% off card there on Wed. ) Even with the 5% off we spend a lot. :wacko: We do buy what is on sale only if we need it. Once in awhile we go to Wegman's or Sam's.

Farmers Market prices are not better but at least maybe the produce are home grown and not from some foreign country.
 
Grocery/Food prices have gone up in So California. I do the 'bulk' of grocery shopping on line & have my groceries delivered. Recently, the delivery charge went from $9.95 to $12.95 at both major market chains, due to the increase in gas prices.
