How much do you spend for groceries?

I spend a lot on food. Less in the summer since I can run to the market when I decide what it is I want to make but during the work year I have to shop for the week so I tend to overbuy just in case. We all eat every meal from home (bag lunches etc.) so I feel I don't spend as much as if I bought coffee out, lunches out and things like that.

Way too much. One thing people don't understand about living in a small town that is out-of-the-way of regular trucking routes is that it is like living on an island (yes, I have) ... everything has to be trucked in and it can be expensive. AND my husband and I love good food, and the restaurants in our town leave something to be desired. I also keep a full pantry, and entertain regularly. I also have to try any and everything new.
