"Dont give me the Hump" means dont make me angry, speed humps are the humps in a road to slow cars down, when I do not notice said hump it gives me the hump in a bacirianus way ie two humps are better than one, the contra arguments is "a hump in the hand is better than two on a camel"

"Hump Day" for Wednesday, was used in all the offices I worked in from the 1960s on. I hadn't heard of any other use for "hump" until much later in my life.
