this is only a suggestion because I have not made this but it's on my to do list. Mike Ditka`s Training Table Pot Roast Recipe @ CDKitchen.com :: it's what's cooking online! the ingredients have gotten my attention and because of that, I'm interested in seeing how it would turn out

Nothing like a nice, thick, creamy soup on a chilly night. Here's one of my favorites. It's fast and easy too!
Potato Bacon Chowder

8 slices of bacon, cut up
1 cup chopped onion
4 cups cooked and cubed potatoes
1 cup water
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 ¾ cups milk
½ teaspoon salt

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and saute onion in drippings. Remove onion and drain on paper towel. To cooked, cubed potatoes add water, soup, sour cream, milk, seasonings, and cooked onion and bacon, saving some bacon to crumble on top. Simmer, do not boil.
