Question Jambalaya

I want to make jambalaya for guests and do not know what I should serve with it. Also, what type plate/bowl? Any suggestions appreciated.

I'd go with a salad or other light accompaniment.

You could use dinner plates or low wide soup bowls.

You know what is bizzare? I just got home today from a cooking class on how to make jambalaya and gumbo! I'd serve the jambalya with greens and a crusty bread.

Good cornbread, fried green tomatoes and bourbon. Serve the jambalaya in a bowl.
