Chicken with roasted coriander in a coconut curry sauce (aka dakshini murgh) from Madhur Jaffrey's Indian Cooking book. It was really good, although a tad bit spicy for me, but Craig loved it. I hear him going back for seconds as I am typing this.

Souschef just finished cleaning a pound of small shrimp so I'm making Shrimp Cakes from my recipe for Cod Fish Cakes. We'll have baked spuds and roasted asparagus for the sides.

We had individual medley tonight. SO had a serving of her golobkis and I had a bowl of one of my favorite soups made with mint and yogurt.

We did the walk-through on the house we're buying so went out after. We did Italian and I had a lovely chicken philly calzone with a salad while DH had the chicken alfredo with a salad. Very good! It was a new-to-us place too with a 10% coupon.

Finally, after two months of non-stop eating out (and probably 300 pounds heavier), I am starting to cook again. Sort of.

Tonight's dinner is a can of Van Kamps pork and beans along with a a pack of chopped hot dogs (anyone notice these are now 15oz instead of a pound?) with the addition of some ketchup, garlic, onions, some seasonings, and a little brown sugar. All tossed in the crock pot and cooked on low for about 6 hours. Which means I'll probably be eating at 10pm again tonight.

Well, it's gotta be cheaper than eating at Jack in the Box.

GF's birthday so I made her one of her favorites..pork tenderloin in paprika cream sauce with mushrooms on egg noodle tagliatelle.....

Not even pic worthy. Instant ramen noodles in a red miso broth with some chopped kimchee to spice it up a bit, and a soft boiled “ramen egg.”

Good golly, we really enjoy this fish cake recipe, the cakes hold together so well (with the chilling directions), no matter if it's cod flakes or shrimp I use, the tasty recipe combo is just right for great fish cakes in our opinion. Yumm...

I moved two chicken breasts from the freezer to the refrigerator Tuesday night, and had no interest in cooking on Wednesday. I was a good girl, though, and fixed supper. We shared the last bit of potato-leek soup, and each had a dinner salad with bits of green and black olives, a hard cooked egg, a roma tomato, and some of the sauteed chicken breast with Greek seasoning. I put two nice slices in the fridge for chicken-bacon panini later this week.
