Panang curry with chicken over brown rice tonight. Probably start with a salad first though. Have some green tea to go with it.

Wahoo melts (bake wahoo with lime & celery salt, flake add mayo, apples, celery, red onion, toasted almonds on a toasted roll with arugula then topped with an Italian cheese blend, parm, asiago, moz put under broiler until bubbly) & fruit salad. Cheesecake with raspberry & chocolate swirls.

We had lentil and sausage soup. Gs made the mix in SS yesterday and wanted me to make it today. I was surprised how good it was and I only had to add diced tomatoes and sliced sausage. We had it with rye bread and cheese, then pumpkin pie for dessert. BTW - in Florida it was 52 this morning and we are loving the cool weather - all the windows are open for a change.

Mikki - how about "chicken" for dinner tonight?

You thawed it out, why not cook it? What made you think your hunters wouldn't want chicken tonight?

Well, the border wanted to eat early and had a fried egg and bacon sandwich. So now it is just DH and I. Didn't get the hamburger soup made so I think it will be tomato for him, mushroom for me and some bacon sammies to go with it.

I ended up finishing up the coleslaw I made yesterday morning.... right after I made up a new batch for my father, sister and BIL for their dinner tomorrow. Dad's stopping out tomorrow and I will give it to him then. He makes ribs every Tuesday for them, but they eat at 5:15 and I can't be there that early. Even if I can't eat with them, at least I can contribute. I think I am going to like keeping cabbage in the veggie drawer. This will work well when I want some kind of salad because it lasts so much longer than lettuce.
