My Dinner - October 1

I did a 7 course meal last week for some of my wife's colleagues. Unfortunately I'm missing two photos - chilled avocado soup which I served with the crab and lemon shortbread with fresh whipped cream and berries.

Cumin Dusted Crab Fritters

Seared Scallop, Bacon Ragu, Sweet Corn Puree

Salmon Stuffed with Creamed Leeks, Dashi

Soba and Clams, Sake, Garlic Butter, Ume

Pan Seared Duck, Pancetta, Poached Asian Pear, Sauvignon Blanc Reduction

Ribeye, Rosemary Butter, Jack Daniels Reduction
Filet Mignon, Dijon Cream Sauce, Cremini Mushrooms

this time around just five guest plus my wife and i. the most i've done is 10 courses for 10 people. that was definitely my limit. i've been lurking a lot and i've posted here and there, but this is my first "real" contribution. :)
