Hubby appreciates everything he loves my cooking and normally helps with the dishes. Least I have one person that's thankful for something!

Well there you go, it's not that bad then :) All kids are difficult at some stage of their lives, they go through phases. Your step daughter is more than likely just testing the waters, she'll get over it once she know your not going anywhere. It's hard for children to accept a step parent. My daughter had a really hard time accepting my second husband too, especially since we have a son together and she felt excluded. It takes time but it will happen. My husband on the other hand asked me to stop working and stay at home with the kids. I've been doing it for a year now and it's the biggest mistake I've ever made. I have to do everything, he didn't even lift a finger when I had a bad fall and was walking with crutches for over a month. Wouldn't even put his dishes in the kitchen or rinse out a cup!
But I've made my bed so I must either lay in it or find someone else to share it with..lol!
