Anyone planning on cooking anything in her honor?:chef:

I'm currently planning on making her "Mediterranean Fish Stew" from my favorite Julia cookbook - "The Way To Cook". Along with a big green salad & crusty French bread, of course.:chef:

I already did last night and will have the leftovers on Sat. Coq au Vin, right from the Mastering the Art Vol 1. It is so delish...been a fave for years! Happy B-day Julia.

Yes - Julia's "Coq au Vin" is one of my all-time favorites as well - for fall/winter. But with heat indices in the 100's here this past week, I just couldn't face a braised chicken dish. Felt that the fish stew was more summery.
