I believe so, the tag on it called it broccoletta, the sign said baby broccoli.

It's long and thin, with flowers and quite sweet raw. I still haven't steamed it, yet. Waiting for the curry to get done. At this rate, I may wait until tomorrow, because I've been grazing the produce I brought home. The kale salad is fantastic.

No. Broccolini is an Italian vegetable that has small florets similar to broccoli, but it has softer stems. I've never eaten it (I have to have a low-fiber diet), so can't comment on the flavor.

I made lots of chicken tortilla soup yesterday; I think DH had some. I have no appetite.

So, if it's not broccolini, what is it?

After fighting with the oven, I figured out what was wrong. It took a bit longer than it should have, but supper turned out really delicious. Danish meatloaf, roasted potato wedges, and Danish red cabbage.

That sounds like broccolini. Broccolini is the name one company uses. I'm guessing that brocolette is the name another company uses. Broccolini - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When I searched Google for baby broccoli and brocolette, it showed that Wikipedia article.

I still have to wrap some bacon around a meatloaf and call it a 'dillo.
Very nice.
