we went out to a local steakhouse tonight.
since i grilled huge porterhouses just the other day, i wasn't in the mood for steak.
we all partook of the tremendous salad bar, at which i loaded up on a delicious chicken liver spread on nutty, multi-grain bread.
next, i had something called "parmigiana crusted chicken". it was simply breaded chicken breasts whose breading was about 50% grated parm. it was ok, but desperately needed a sauce. oddly enough, it was pretty good with the side of mushroom gravy that was supposed to go on the mashed potatoes. it was sorta like a cheesy chicken fried steak, but made with chicken breasts.
my boy had grilled chicken kebabs over rice, and dw had snapper topped with cilantro shrimp. don't ask my why we went to a steakhouse
for dessert, we shared a massive piece of 7 layer cake.
