so... we're having a couple people over for lunch after church on Sunday. I'm planning on either making rolls or just going to the store and getting some nice ones. I was thinking of deli meats...some ham, turkey, balogna, cheddar and provolone cheese. and then making some veggie, chix, soup.
should i do rice in the soup, noodles or stick to potatoes...
and make the rolls or buy..
make some ham or buy...
also appetizer: I make ham rolls.. (so no hamm ok..)
i take deli ham, sliced thin, slice up carrots (julianne or just shread), make a balsamic italian vinegarette, and place some carrots and a basil leaf with the ham and roll it up and then stick it with a toothpick..
Everyone loves them!
Dessert...i have some oatmeal cookie dough already made...figured I'd bake some of those up.
Drinks...something good, non-alcoholic...its lunch..and they have to drive about 40mins. home...
ideas?
