Seems like such a shame to bake your potatoes in the oven when you're going to be grilling, Kayelle... :)

My dinner rocked. The grilled turkey burgers were lovely. The shrimp macaroni salad was lovely. The homemade potatoe chips were lovely. Everything was lovely ;)

Very nice pic, luvs :)

I made CharlieD's Kartoflianiki with chicken, green onions, and seasoned with fresh rosemary. I also picked dandelions and made wilted greens, inspired by Making dandelions palatable by John Kallas, Ph.D Issue #82, original link from justplainbill, in kadesma's http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/f11/dandelion-salad-tnt-71877.html#post994077 thread. I also tried just boiling the dandelion greens for five minutes, adding some bits of bacon, salt & pepper, and EVOO.

The Kartoflianiki were yummy. I will do that again. I want to try with cottage cheese or quark and grated cheddar. The wilted greens were delicious. The boiled dandelions were edible, but bitter. I won't be trying that again real soon.

Next I will try kadesma's dandelion salad recipe, but I will add the bacon and hot bacon grease. I no like bitter, no, no, ick, spit :yuk:

Took my mom, daughter and granddaughter to a late lunch/early dinner(daughter called it Linner) at a 4 star casino near where my mom lives(my nephew is a chef there). I had seafood quiche with a white wine reduction sauce and fresh fruit with a glass of chardonnay. Granddaughter had noodles and cheese! Lol!

Did she play with them or eat them? She's so cute!

She ate really well she just kept picking up one noodle after another. She is a lefty so she holds the fork in her left hand and picks up noodles and shoves them in with her right hand. Rolf! It was hilarious. But she was very serious about it. She ate all of the fruit! She's only 18 mo. So I think she did pretty well! It was fun!

Well, I would LOVE to have lunch with her and teach her some bad manners. We'd have a blast!:)
